About the Position

Managers/Directors in our Go-to-Market Strategy practice lead client engagements across marketing and sales disciplines, with a focus on:

  • Multi-channel strategy and routes-to-market design
  • Audience insights, segmentation, and targeting
  • Positioning and messaging
  • Aligning organizations to go-to-market goals
  • Marketing and sales integration

Responsibilities

Managers/Directors play four key roles at MarketBridge:

  • Project and Client Management: A Director is the primary point person responsible for engagement delivery, managing project timelines, workstreams, deliverables, team members and clients to a satisfactory outcome.
  • Strategic Analysis and Presentation Development: Directors develop and test hypotheses, develop solutions, and present findings for our clients, ultimately building consensus through fact-based narratives.
  • Develop Go-to-Market and Industry Expertise: Directors will focus on developing expertise in specific functional areas of Marketing and Sales, as well as expertise in at least one focus industry such as insurance, health care, technology, or media. The ideal candidate will bring a starter kit of expertise, and continue to grow that toolkit as they progress at MarketBridge.
  • Business Development: Directors support business development with thought leadership (writing and presenting), as well as partnering with Vice Presidents to develop deeper relationships with our clients, and occasionally pursue new accounts. The Director role is a stepping stone to the Vice President role, which has a more leveraged compensation plan and formal business development targets.

Qualifications & Expectations

An ideal candidate will have, and will be able to demonstrate during the interview process:

  • Consulting or agency experience, preferably six years or more
  • Experience working for and with Fortune 500 accounts and clients
  • Significant experience in one or more of the following industries: Tech, health care, financial services, insurance, business services, or media.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • An aptitude for teamwork and leadership
  • A track record of managing multiple detailed projects and project elements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong client presentation skills
